Set in grounds that carry both local and national history, Paisley Woodside Memorial Park and Crematorium serves Paisley, Glasgow, Johnstone and Renfrew and is within easy reach of families coming from Irvine and North Ayrshire. Tree-lined walkways and beautifully kept gardens give the site a quiet, welcoming atmosphere suited to both reflection and the celebration of a life.
Visitors can also spend time in the crematorium’s three Gardens of Remembrance – peaceful spaces set aside for quiet thought.
Cremation, burial and memorial services can all be held in the Main Chapel, which accommodates up to 95 guests; the Martyrs Chapel offers a smaller, more intimate alternative.
Some services follow a faith tradition, others are entirely non-religious. Each is a deeply meaningful occasion for family and friends, and each is handled with compassion, dignity and care.
One-hour service slots are standard, with extended timings available on request; where possible, services can also be arranged outside usual opening hours, including at weekends.
Whether you are faced with arranging a funeral now for someone you love, or you would like to put plans in place for your own funeral in the future, we are here to help you shape a farewell that truly reflects the life being remembered.
If someone has died, we’ll take care of all the arrangements as quickly as needed, supporting you to create a fitting send-off with or without a service while looking after your loved one with the utmost respect.
If you are considering planning ahead, our prepaid funeral plans enable you to organise and fund your funeral in advance. This means your preferences are clearly set out, the costs are secured, and your family is spared additional worry at an already difficult time.
From the moment you contact us to the day of the funeral and in the time that follows, we will be by your side with continued support.

In the days following a bereavement, making practical arrangements can feel overwhelming. We are here to support you through each step, taking care of the details with sensitivity and ensuring your loved one is treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
We believe every funeral should be as unique as the person it’s for. We will help you plan a farewell that feels appropriate, whether that is a modest family-led ceremony, a traditional attended service, or a no-fuss direct cremation with no attendees.
Arrange a funeral with a service on a day and time that suits your family. Your dedicated funeral planner will take care of every detail, ensuring the arrangements reflect your wishes, including music choices and any special requests.
We offer flexible options, whether you would prefer a smaller, more intimate cremation service for close family and friends or a larger gathering. Each funeral can be adapted to meet your preferences and budget. Additional features such as a hearse, limousine, or officiant are available should you wish to include them.
A direct cremation is ideal for those who don’t like funerals or who don’t want a fuss. Although there is no service, you can rest assured your funeral will be carried out to the highest standard by our funeral directors and staff. We treat those in our care with the utmost respect, and our chapel attendant bows a goodbye to every single coffin.
For some families, a direct cremation offers the flexibility to say goodbye in their own way and at a time that suits them, particularly if they are unable to gather for a funeral.
A prepaid funeral plan gives you the opportunity to pay for your funeral ahead of time, providing peace of mind for both you and those closest to you.
We offer a range of prepaid funeral plans to suit different needs, preferences and budgets. Whether you would like a funeral service for family and friends to pay their respects, or a simple, unattended direct cremation, your wishes will be clearly recorded and followed when the time comes.
You have the flexibility to pay for your funeral plan in full upfront or spread the cost with monthly instalments, subject to eligibility.
There are two options to choose from. The Personal Plan suits those wanting a smaller, simple service for close friends and family, held at an off-peak time to keep costs as low as possible.
The Celebration of Life Plan allows for a fuller occasion, with no limits on the number of attendees and no time restrictions. Both plans allow for personal touches, including the choice of hearse, limousines, music and floral tributes, and the service may be led by family members or by an officiant.
This plan covers everything needed for a simple direct cremation, with nothing further for your family to pay. While there is no service, you can be confident your funeral will be conducted with dignity, respect and the highest standard of care.
We believe a meaningful farewell can also be mindful of the planet. We introduced the UK’s first electric cremator and built a plan to cut mercury emissions across all operations. We track our carbon footprint annually and aim for continued improvement. We’re here to help you plan a farewell that’s thoughtful in every way, for you and the planet. Caring for the environment runs through all we do, as standard.

Families in Scotland may be able to claim Funeral Support Payment, a Scottish Government benefit that contributes towards the cost of arranging a funeral.
The payment does not usually meet the full cost of a funeral, but it can reduce the financial pressure by helping with certain fees and services. Depending on your circumstances, it can be paid straight to you or to the funeral director managing the arrangements.
Visit the MyGov.Scot website for full details, including the eligibility rules.

You can choose from a variety of different types of services, ranging from a personalised service to a direct cremation with no attended service.
Prices with Memoria Funerals start from £1,195 for a direct cremation without a service, and from £2,045 for an attended funeral at North Hertfordshire Memorial Park & Crematorium.
We offer a wide range of memorial options for those arranging a cremation now or planning their own memorial in advance. Our on-site memorial options at Paisley include woodland memorial posts, memorial bird baths, benches, memorial plaques, and many more choices that can be placed in the peaceful gardens of remembrance allowing you to create a personal and meaningful tribute. When we lose someone special, we spend a lot of time thinking about and organising the funeral, however the time that passes afterwards can sometimes be the hardest. Our crematoria teams, especially our groundsmen who tend the gardens and take special care of the memorials are there to support for weeks, months and years after.
