Our Traditional Plus Funeral includes a celebrant to conduct the service for your loved one, a hearse, four bearers and funeral director. As the name would suggest, this is a more traditional style of funeral service.

A traditional funeral with a celebrant to conduct a service
The Traditional Plus Funeral includes our professional fees to organise and arrange the funeral. You choose the crematorium, and we will bring your loved one into our care. A standard coffin with handles and a nameplate will be provided, the service will be at a time available to suit you and your family.
This package is for cremation and not burial.
As this funeral concentrates on the funeral service, at most of our crematoria you will be able to add music or photographic displays. You may also be able to add a live webcast of the service if required for an additional cost.
The hearse will take your loved one to the crematorium and a funeral director will be present. One limousine will be provided to take family and friends to the funeral. You can add additional cars should you need them.
After the cremation, ashes can be scattered in the Garden of Remembrance at the crematorium or collected by a family member or your executor.

If choosing to pay by Funeral Safe, you may pay more over the term as unsecured loans are subject to interest. Missing payments could result in further charges and your funeral plan being cancelled. Please see FAQs for full details.

There is a business charge of £500 for setting up your funeral plan. This is the total charge of providing a funeral plan to you, including processing and administrative costs. This will be taken from the lump sum payment or will be paid to us by the insurance provider as a commission payment. Medical Certification Fees
Also known as doctors fees, medical certification fees for cremation are payable in England and Wales when a post mortem has not taken place.

The Morpeth Coffin is included in all our funeral packages.
The Morpeth is a light oak coffin with brass effect handles and name plate.

Frequently Asked Questions
To keep your money safe, we put all of the money from each plan (less the fee for setting up the plan) into an individual whole-of-life policy with our preferred insurance provider. When you pass away, the money is released to us so that your funeral can be provided.
Depending on the funeral plan you have chosen, additional services may be available at an additional cost. Please call our friendly team on 0800 007 3580 to find out what additional items can be included and the associated cost.
We only accept payment in full for our pre paid funeral plans, this is for customers aged 40 to 99 years old.
We also work with Funeral Safe, a provider of unsecured loans whereby you can pay them on a monthly basis if you are aged between 40 and 84 years old, with loan terms between 12 months to 8 years. Low Cost Funeral Limited are a credit broker not a lender. Credit checks would be required to apply for a loan and will show on your credit file. If you do not keep up with payments, your funeral plan could be cancelled and you may be subject to further action. The loan would be subject to 14% interest. In the event of our firm’s failure there will be a reasonable likelihood that the funeral plan contract will continue to be carried out, on the same terms and conditions, by another firm. Where this takes place, the new firm will notify you that they have taken responsibility for the funeral plan within 30 days of the transfer taking place. If for any reason your funeral plan cannot be fulfilled by an alternative provider, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) will pay you compensation; the FSCS calculate the compensation by reference to what it would cost to the buy the same plan on today’s market at that time.
