Our Celebration of Life funeral includes all the essentials with the aim of keeping costs low.
The cremation fees are as charged by the crematorium enabling you to save more money by choosing a lower price service time if you prefer.

Celebrate the life of your loved one
Similar to our other services, the Celebration of Life Funeral includes our professional fees to organise and arrange the funeral. You can choose the crematorium, and we will bring your loved one into our care. A standard coffin with handles and a nameplate will be provided and service times are up to 30 minutes, available at a time to suit you and your family.
As this funeral concentrates on the funeral service, at most of our crematoria you will be able to add music or photographic displays. You may also be able to add a live webcast of the service if required.
The coffin will be placed on the catafalque at the crematorium awaiting your arrival.
After the cremation, ashes can be scattered in the Garden of Remembrance at the crematorium or collected by a family member or your executor.

Optional Extras
- Hearse: £400
Transportation by suitable vehicle is included, however you can upgrade to include a hearse for a funeral procession if you prefer. - Limousine: £300
Family and friends can provide their own transport, or you can add a limousine that will seat 6 to 7 people. - Officiant: £250
Family can conduct the funeral service or you can choose a religious or a non-religious officiant instead.
Additional Charges That May Be Payable
Items not included in your package incur extra charges should they be required, for example:
- Oversized Coffin: £250
- 24 hour service: £250
To collect from a private residence or facility without a mortuary - Medical Certification Fees: £82
Medical Certification fees are payable in England and Wales only, when a postmortem has not taken place.

Also known as doctors fees, medical certification fees for cremation are payable in England and Wales when a post mortem has not taken place.

Coffin upgrade
The Morpeth Coffin is included in all our funeral packages.
The Morpeth is a light oak coffin with brass effect handles and name plate.
If you wish to explore other options available as an additional cost we provide a choice of coffin upgrades.
