Customise Your Plan
Our Celebration of Life Funeral Plan includes all the essentials, you can add on additional items to suit your preference for an additional fee:
- Funeral Procession Including Hearse & Bearers: £400
- Officiant to Conduct the Service: £250
- Limousine that seats 6-7 people: £300
Celebration of your life
The Celebration of Life Funeral includes our professional fees to organise and arrange the funeral. You can choose the crematorium, and we will bring you into our care. A standard coffin with handles and a nameplate will be provided and service times are available at a time to suit your family.
As this funeral concentrates on the funeral service, at most crematoria you will be able to add music or photographic displays. Your family may also be able to add a live webcast of the service if required for an additional cost.
The coffin will be placed on the catafalque at the crematorium awaiting arrival of family and friends. Or you can customise the plan to include a hearse and bearers for a traditional funeral procession.
After the cremation, your ashes can be scattered in the Garden of Remembrance at the crematorium or collected by a family member or your executor.

If choosing to pay by Funeral Safe, you may pay more over the term as unsecured loans are subject to interest. Missing payments could result in further charges and your funeral plan being cancelled. Please see FAQs for full details.

There is a business charge of £500 for setting up your funeral plan. This is the total charge of providing a funeral plan to you, including processing and administrative costs. This will be taken from the lump sum payment or will be paid to us by the insurance provider as a commission payment. Please note, it's included in the price of your plan and not added as an extra charge. Breakdown of costs can be viewed under Business Charges.

Business Charges
The total cost of your attended funeral plan includes a £500 business charge. If you were to arrange an attended funeral for a person who passed away today, the price would be £2,640 which includes cremation fees and excludes collection from home/private residence.
Medical Certification Fees
Also known as doctors fees, medical certification fees for cremation are payable in England and Wales when a post mortem has not taken place.

Frequently Asked Questions
To keep your money safe, we put all of the money from each plan (less the fee for setting up the plan) into an individual whole-of-life policy with our preferred insurance provider. When you pass away, the money is released to us so that your funeral can be provided.
Depending on the funeral plan you have chosen, additional services may be available at an additional cost. Please call our friendly team on 0800 007 3580 to find out what additional items can be included and the associated cost.
We only accept payment in full for our pre paid funeral plans, this is for customers aged 40 to 99 years old.
We also work with Funeral Safe, a provider of unsecured loans whereby you can pay them on a monthly basis if you are aged between 40 and 84 years old, with loan terms between 12 months to 8 years. Low Cost Funeral Limited are a credit broker not a lender. Credit checks would be required to apply for a loan and will show on your credit file. If you do not keep up with payments, your funeral plan could be cancelled and you may be subject to further action. The loan would be subject to 14% interest. In the event of our firm’s failure there will be a reasonable likelihood that the funeral plan contract will continue to be carried out, on the same terms and conditions, by another firm. Where this takes place, the new firm will notify you that they have taken responsibility for the funeral plan within 30 days of the transfer taking place. If for any reason your funeral plan cannot be fulfilled by an alternative provider, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) will pay you compensation; the FSCS calculate the compensation by reference to what it would cost to the buy the same plan on today’s market at that time.
